Analytical methods in quantum mechanics

In my talk I will review briefly basic solvable models of quantum mechanics together with the basic methodology for obtaining their analytical solutions. Subsequently, I will apply similar techniques to the problem of two correlated electrons in a central field and will present the current status of knowledge about the solution to this problem. The talk will be delivered in a rather didactic manner with basic explanations meant to be understandable for a non-specialist.
