It will be presented the possibility to easily adopt as a wave function
form an intermediate point of view between Schrödinger's classical scalar
framework and Dirac's relativistic four component spinors. The extended wave
functions, made by a vector whose component are the classical Schrödinger function
and its gradient, can be catalogued as elements of the so-called Sobolev spaces.
Accepting this fact a general wave function structure arises, encompassing in this
manner non-linear Schrödinger equation and beyond.
