2 Conditional code and the fortran preprocessor

Some parts of MOLPRO contain code which should be run only on certain target hardware; or, more generally, there is sometimes a need to provide several alternative constructs for different computers. MOLPRO has its own fortran preprocessor, called ftc, designed to handle this requirement.
