11.3.1 grid_orbital_initialize: prepare to evaluate orbitals

This routine must be called before grid_orbital_values is used. It sets up the required ancilliary quantities for orbital evaluation, placing them on the standard variable memory stack. Programmers should thus be aware of the memory management implications.
