Stéphanie HALBERT, PhD
Assistant Professor

Stéphanie Halbert obtained her PhD in 2013 from Université Montpellier 2, under the co-supervision of Pr. Odile Eisenstein and Dr. Christophe Raynaud. Her work aimed at analyzing the origin of the differences in the dynamics of alkylidene complexes (via CSA), known as Schrock olefin methatesis catalysts, supported on amorphous silica (Surface Organometallic Chemistry). From 2013 to 2015, she was a Postdoctoral fellow at Laboratoire de Chimie Théorique (LCT), in the group of Pr. Hélène Gérard, where she worked on mechanisms and selectivities in copper-catalysis (Homogeneous Catalysis).

In 2015, she continued her research projects as an Assistant Professor (Maître de Conférences). She works on mechanisms and selectivity in catalysis or in organic reactions in collaboration with experimental groups.

Skills: DFT, molecular dynamics, QM/MM, NMR spectroscopy.
